    Summer, the season of renewed energy, sparks fresh inspiration and invites us to dream of the year ahead, especially when it comes to the way we live in our homes.

    While practical problem-solving often takes the spotlight in home alterations, there can be lots of fun in pursuing some alterations that simply make our living spaces more enjoyable.

    As a family, Sarah and I have embraced this approach working these holidays to complete a renovation at our own home, creating more space for us and the kids, introducing a fresh and fun functionality to our home.

    Now that the JCC Build team is back in full swing, we are ready to turn your summer holiday dreams of a new and improved home into reality. Let us bring your summer dreams to life... happy to chat!

    Starting an interior project from scratch can be a little overwhelming, but a tried-and-true approach is to establish your style, then pick a colour palette that you love.

    Design styles can be:
    1.Modern Traditional – A fresh twist on a timeless approach with symmetry and understated elegance.
    2.Scandinavian – Nordic in its roots with whites and soft wood tones.
    3.Art Deco – Iconic 1930s style which embraces curves, brass, and all things glamorous.
    4.Contemporary – Simple clean lines, and neutral colour palette with a strong focus on texture.
    5.Bohemian – A travelled look with loads of plants, macrame, and well-worn patina.

    Whatever you choose, you can then search for design tips based around that style to get you started. With each comes beautiful colour options which can be grounded in today’s interior trends.

    1.Earthy naturals – Warm and organic with raw beauty, embracing imperfections.
    2.Ocean blues – Brings calming blues and sandy shades, a fresh nautical-based décor.
    3.Rich Greens – Moss and vegetation, leafy wallpapers all based around nature and the outdoors.
    4.The nineties pastels are back! – Monochromatic colour schemes using pastels, velvets, and metallics, ice cream shades of yumminess.

    What our clients have to say about this renovation;

    "We hope you're as proud of what you achieved as we are in our house. It is truly beautiful and a wonderful home." Krista
    Here at JCC Build, we have a strong focus on responsible construction waste management. Our new project planning incorporates a waste management process unique to each build, and our teams work and adapt to ensure we are minimising landfill usage.

    We consider waste that can be sorted, sold or repurposed and now separate out cardboard and Gib offcuts along with timber and concrete. Each step we take to manage this makes a difference.

    A big shout out to Purpose Fill, a local Hamilton-based company owned and operated, doing significant work in this space.

    We are proud to partner with them.
    What our clients have to say;

    “Highly rated overall, everything from excellent communication, impeccable workmanship, professional and timely installation”.

    “Knowledgeable advice regarding building best practice, well organised crews arriving on site, Will was very well informed on what was happening on site due to detailed daily internal reporting".
